Experience musical stories as international artists perform alongside the Academy’s stellar young musicians and esteemed teaching artists in 120 orchestra and chamber programs, masterclasses, competitions, and family events.

Known as Miraflores, the Academy’s nine-acre campus is a gem of spectacular grounds and gardens. Stroll and relax before a performance or masterclass in Hahn Hall or the Marilyn Horne Main House. And experience the Festival downtown at an opera, orchestra concert, or chamber event in the historic Granada Theatre, Lobero Theatre, or Plaza del Mar Bandshell.

Over 60 world-class teaching artists collaborate with and mentor our fellows to prepare them for 8 weeks of performances — from opera and orchestra performances to side-by-side chamber music concerts and public masterclasses.
2025 Summer Festival events featured appearances by Randall Goosby, Sasha Cooke, Jeremy Denk, Christine Goerke, Andy Akiho, Stewart Copeland, and the Takács Quartet, to name a few!
